Olive Oil – Pure Olive Oil is a wonderful Carrier oil and Base oil for Soap Making. It is highly nutritive and stable. It contains protein, minerals, and vitamins as well as superior penetrating power, and acidic and antioxidant values. It reduces the appearance of scars on the skin.
Coconut Oil – Coconut Oil is the preferred oil for high quality cold process soapers. Coconut Oil is excellent as a skin moisturizer and softener. Organic Coconut Oil has a very slight coconut scent, but is generally considered odorless.
Soy Oil – Soybean oil is extracted from soybeans and is a good source of healthy fats, including omega-3 fatty acids and polyunsaturated fats.
Soy Shortening – It is mild, moisturizing and gives a low, creamy lather.
Cedarwood – Distilled from the wood; soft, woodsy scent, moth repellent and astringent, meditative.
Citronella – Steam distilled from the grass; powerful, citrusy scent, uplifting, natural bug repellent.
Lemongrass – Distilled from partially dried leaves, lemon, herbal, and slightly bitter scent, popular natural fragrance.
Peppermint – Distilled from leaves, powerful minty, fresh, helps sinus problems. Cooling, calming and soothing for headaches.
Orange – Cold-pressed from peel; delicious, juicy scent, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory.
Lemon – Cold-pressed from fresh peel; sharp, and citrusy, antioxidant, antiseptic, and antidepressant.
Clove – Distilled from immature flower bud; powerful, spicy and hot, stimulating and antiseptic.
Balsam – Steam distillation from the oleo resin; soft balsamic, pine-like scent, good for respiratory ailments.
Lavender – Distilled from flowers; sweet, floral, and herbal, used widely for skin, and balancing emotions.
Tea Tree – Distilled from leaves and related to Eucalyptus; extremely antiseptic and antiviral (and nontoxic).
Eucalyptus – Distilled from leaf and twig; pungent, sharp, somewhat camphorous, decongestant.
Rosemary – Distilled from flowering tops and leaves, herby, sharp, camphorous, very stimulating.
Patchouli – Distilled from fermented leaves; darkens and develops with age, heavy, earthy and woodsy.
Rose Geranium – Distilled from leaves, very herbal scent, reduces inflammation.
Fir Needle – Distilled from twigs and needles; pleasing, rich balsamic odor, good for respiratory ailments.
Pine Needle – Dry distillation of the needles, strong,dry-balsamic, turpentine-like aroma, good for bronchitis, baths.
Blueberry Fiber – Blueberry fiber is a natural co-product made from the blueberry pomace generated from juice pressing operations. Blueberry fiber as an all-natural ingredient is a high-quality source of soluble and insoluble dietary fiber.
