Shipping Rates:

Our goal is to deliver your purchase quickly and in good condition. Items will be shipped within 1-3 business days of your order. We ship using USPS Priority Mail and shipping can take up to 5 business days from date of shipment.

Sales tax must be charged for orders shipping within Maine.

If for any reason an item you’ve selected is out of stock, we will notify you via email to discuss a substitution.

Domestic Shipping

  • Priority Mail® services will increase approximately 5.7% overall for Commercial (online postage) in 2024, with rates starting at $7.90 (previously $7.64).

  • Priority Mail Express® services will increase approximately 5.9% overall for Commercial (online postage) in 2024, with rates starting at $26.35 (previously $24.90).

  • Ground Advantage® services will increase approximately 5.4% overall for Commercial (online postage) in 2024, with rates starting at $3.79 (previously $3.59).

At this time we do not ship internationally.

GIFT GIVING AVAILABLE ALL YEAR!

Let us make your gift giving easier – we can ship directly to your gift recipients so you don’t have to! Just enter the name and address where you would like your gift shipped in the “ship to” section and give us your gift message in the special instructions section. We will include our Maine Island Soap card with a hand written gift message and ship it to your intended destination – no extra charge. Please use only one shipping address per order.

Returns and Exchanges

We take great care to ensure that our products arrive looking just as beautiful as when they left our workshop. If your order arrives damaged or not in satisfactory condition, please contact us within 3 days of receipt. We’ll gladly replace the item or issue a full refund.

Returns are accepted within 10 days of the purchase date. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Returned goods must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received. For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened or used soap products.

Please include your name, order number, and reason for return, and indicate whether you prefer a substitution or a refund. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after receipt of the return.

Returns on wholesale or bulk orders may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
