Hand-poured in small batches right here in Maine, our new candles were created to bring the scents and feeling of the Maine coast into your home.
Maine has a way of staying with you.
The scent of evergreen trees. The crispness of the coastal air. Wild blueberries growing along the roadside. Herbs growing in the garden. The warmth of a quiet evening at home.
These are the kinds of things that inspired ourSignature Candle Collection.
We wanted to create fragrances that feel familiar, natural and distinctly Maine.
And just like ourhandmade Maine soaps, we wanted every candle to be something we would be proud to have in our own home.
Our Signature Candle Collection currently features five unique fragrances, each with its own personality.
A fresh and inviting combination inspired by one of Maine’s most iconic flavors.
Sweet blueberry notes are balanced with the herbal character of thyme for a fragrance that feels both fresh and comforting.
Inspired by Maine’s evergreen forests and rugged landscapes.
Bright citrus peel brings a burst of freshness while crisp pine creates a warm, woodsy balance. It’s invigorating, familiar and reminiscent of a refreshing walk through the woods.
A calming combination of floral lavender and fresh, aromatic rosemary.
This is a wonderful choice when you want your home to feel peaceful and relaxed.

Sage and cedarwood come together to create a sophisticated fragrance with the feeling of being surrounded by Maine’s forests.

Just like our soap, our candles are made with care.
Each candle ishand-poured in small batches using a natural coconut-soy wax blend and quality fragrance.
Our 6-ounce candles are poured into classic glass Ball Mason jars with metal lids, giving them a simple, timeless look that fits naturally into almost any home.
Each candle provides approximately35–40 hours of burn time when cared for properly.
We love the fact that something as simple as lighting a candle can completely change the feeling of a room.
Maine Island Soap has been making Maine-inspired products for decades.
While oursoaps.* will always be at the heart of what we do, we’ve always loved finding new ways to capture the feeling of Maine in the products we create.
